this is what they do most of the time, especially on lazy sundays. after a few naps they will wake up, eat, drink, do their business and then walk back to their comfort zone and doze off again. how can they do that every single day over and over again without getting bored of it? life as a domestic cat is surely simple, they don't really have much to worry. me on the other hand love to watch my babies sleeping, they look so cuddly when they are sleeping and at times i do get a little annoyed and poke them just to wake them up haha.

Gemuk & Busuk. Which is gemuk, well I think you can figure that out. Why I call grey busuk? Everytime after we bath her she will love to lick her fur all over & I don't know why but i do think persians, their habit is always grooming themselves, that explained why persians are so vain. My neighbour have 4 persian cats (almost the same colour with grey only a lighter shade). Each time I saw them outdoors, they will be doing nothing but sitting around with that vain face of theirs or they will be grooming themselves. My cat baby a.k.a gemuk don't usually groom herself that much, wait she rarely do so plus she like to be dirty & get herself dirty. So i guess it depends on the breed.

This morning was hilarious & scary, I woke up & got ready for work. I notice the drawer to the cupboard was open & so I shut it. Grey was as usual sitting at her favourite spot minding her own business & I went to look for baby, I like to kiss her everytime before I go to work & tell her 'behave yourself' (like she will heed that advice..), that is when I notice she is not around.

So I call out her name, knowing she will come out from her hiding place, but I didnt hear or see her around, I became worried, but she can't go anywhere outside since the windows are closed. Then I heard a thud coming from the cupboard, knewing that she probably hiding in the cupboard like she love to, I open & start looking around, but she wasn't in there either but I still hear the thudding sound. That's when it came to me, maybe she was in the drawer I just closed. & indeed she was! She was so frantic that she rush out of the drawer the minute I opened it. LOL, I wonder how she can fit in that drawer being so fat! Plus her fur is dark, it's hard to see her amist all the clothing in the drawer, she's like a camelion sometimes. Lucky that I looked for her, if not she would probably die of saffocation! The thought of that frightens me.

when you have cats and you're moving around, it is sometimes hard for them to adapt. but i am glad my cats are easily adapt each time we moved. and the fun part is they get to make some friends along the way. now they are already adapt in our new home. with more space for them to move around and play or find a good hiding spot to hide or get a peaceful sleep. i guess my cats have gain some convidence along the way that they can sense we are making a move. they have got so use to it that they didnt pee in their carrier when we moved the last week. and now they are already happily adapt, but have yet to explore the long corridor. i already saw 2 neighbours with cats, so well my cats can make some friends again soon. especially grey, she is very popular among the male cats.

Baby's enjoy teasing Grey, but hate it if Grey teases her. Here she was trying to get attention from Grey but Grey was actually waiting for Baby to move off from her basket so she just sits and watch Baby and after a while Baby gave in and move off haha.

do you remember naughty little OJ? recently i visited OJ and look how he have grown in just a few months! he's not so little anymore now. carpark have grown too! but i can't get a static pose from HIM. haha yes carpark is indeed a male. so lucky for OJ to have a buddy now to get into adventure with. i wonder if cats can remember good memories they had before.

grey is really weird sometimes. she tend to sleep at places which maybe some cats wont feel comfortable to fall asleep on. & baby can't do what she does either.

the outdoors & them.

giving them some time roaming outdoors is a must. cause if i don't, grey will be really upset and start meowing which in her term 'nagging' and you'll just have to let her out. if you don't, she will stalk you everywhere! it's not that i like to cope them inside anyways, but they are domestic home pets which are not use being outdoors and once if they lost their way, that's it, they will never be able to find their way home. and i will go bezerk!

and each time they went outdoors i have to keep my eye on them. they are good at tricks. they 'pretend' by being good sitting or lying around showing me that they are enjoying the sun but when i even for a sec look away, they will probably be by the end of the staircase trying to go down or right at the other side of the corridor. there were times when i lost baby. cause she's a genius to roam around and make her way to the 3rd floor and thought that the door she is waiting at is our place. but at times i do bring them downstairs to feel the grass under their feet, but it is hard to let them stay still, when i do bring them to feel the grass, they will grab me and shiver or even like grey she will pee. hilarious!

and while i am typing now grey is bugging my sister to let her go outdoors.

i read somewhere before that sun is good for their fur.

yeah you can say i am a pretty much hardcore cat lover! haha.

& once when i get married someday, i'm planning to have probably 5 cats. Baby & Grey included of course. they will probably be the seniors by then. i will adopt say 3 more haha. or probably more than 5 cause mr boyfriend is a cat lover too. he use to have cats before. but currently unable to keep any, sadly.

but having cats in my household is a must.

i love the feeling of coming home and getting to hug and give a kiss to my big fat baby cat & loud mouth grey. sometimes i even talk with them and to get a meow from them is really worth it. they are just so huggable. and they help to release all the stress that i was currently having. it's true cats are connoisseurs of comfort. better than the comfort a human might be able to give. they don't have to say anything and only give us their unconditional love. i love my 2 babies & till death do us part haha. hugs hugs hugs.

i miss Clover, OJ, Dusty, BlueBlue & in memory of Umanga & Bobby too, who went missing after we move in for a few weeks. & little carpark (twitchy) whom we rescued & given off for adoption. but of course i can always visit them & little carpark. but thankfully i still have 2 of my monsters to love! it has been a neverending adventure.

but the saddest & the most of all i miss orange & white. wonder what happen to them since we went away. human life's a bitch.

my sister recently rescued a mth old kitten & brought it home. it was mewing the whole day at a nearby carpark looking lost and helpless. so she bought it home & we name it twitchy. haha. but we won't be able to keep it cause my mum says we already have 2 cats. awww. but we found a home for it so it won't be a stray or send off to the SPCA or what's not. twitchy is doing well for now, eating kitten mashed tuna & we're also feeding it formula milk for kittens. it is not yet known what gender is twitchy but looks like a female. & the great thing is twitchy looks like baby's junior, same tabby breed. but i'm glad we found someone who will take care of it. & the kitten's name will probably be change to something other than twitchy haha.

to kill the boredom of your domestic pet is of cause to play with them whenever you have the time. this will help in showing them attention & affection that they need. whenever i have the time i would of course spend quality time with my 2 beloved cats. & boy do they love the attention! & if i would i get them simple cat toys or treats. but usually baby enjoys playing with cat toys. so i usually get for her. for grey she enjoys just getting the affection, she hardly play with cat toys much. she thinks cat toys are for 'babies'. but when i do get cat toys for my cats it usually will last a week & the toys will be missing. baby love hiding stuff everywhere she could & sometimes she would bring it out of hiding again.

this is the 2nd time i bought this catnip cat toy for her. she went crazy again for this 2. & right now both the green & the yellow ones are out of my sight... yet again.

cats have their own personality. every cat is different.

grey is very tame. she loves people, she won't bite or scratch you even if you hug her till she is out of breath. she will keep purring & be cute & adorable. while baby on the other hand is one fierce & rough cat. she always looked 'stressed'. don't imagined that she will sit on your lap for more then 5 mins or u get to hold her for more than 5 mins without being bitten. she will bite your hand when you pat her or whenever she feels like it, to her it is sort of 'playtime'. my mum has always played rough with her since she was a kitten so she turn out to be a very rough cat. thinking that we are her 'playmate' instead of human. sometimes i think that, she thinks she is 'the' human & we are 'the' cat. it is rarely that you'll hear her purr & meow adorably. but if she do it is WAY adorable! & she likes to misbehave & rarely listen to what she is not suppose to do. she have this 'i'm a cat, i don't give a damn' attitude.

& i am the one & only person she is very close with & have a bonded trust. there are times when she was sent for boarding & she went haywire. she got sick, her fur start shedding, she became even mad & bite at every hand trying to touch her. she growl at anything & everything & everyone. & she will start picking catfight with grey. but grey will give in & not get back at her. it is only when i took her home that she was up & ok again. that's when i realised that she hates it if i am not around. if i am not with her. she won't survive like other cats would, if she happen to get strayed. since from a small adorable 4 month old kitten being left alone not having others like her around & got adopted by us, in her eyes we are her ONLY family that she can trust. she live with us around her, taking care of her, let her have a safe place to sleep that sometimes i think she lost her cat instinct. & she dislike other cats too, she has become a very anti social cat. i need to let her get more social, maybe adopt a few more cats lol!

a little intro on how i actually got to adopt my now 2 lovable domestic pets.

i never use to have a pet cat. but i have always wanted one. my first pet was a hamster name max. then i have a few other pet hamsters. like white & doodle. but eventually hamsters can't live that long. so after 3 of them died, i was again hoping to have another pet. a rabbit maybe...nah, a fish.... a little boring, a pet turtle? hopelessly i can't relate to any other animals beside.... a cat.

& since young i've always wanted a pet cat. i even once lied to a friend when i was 7 at age, that i have a pet cat lol. but of course i didn't have one then. then a few years back there was this pregnant black cat that stayed at our corridor & made it her 'home' for a while. so we fed it and a few days later it gave birth to 3 kittens. adorable. was hoping we could keep all of them but my parents was not too happy about it. so we took care of them outside our home. but after weeks passed, & the 3 adorable kitten grew up & like kids growing up they tend to get naughty and misbehave, till we sort of get a complaint from the neighbour. so when dad, me & my 2 siblings went off to langkawi. mum took all those kittens plus the mum & send it off some place else.

i was of course pissed off at her. but she said when she took them away one of the kitten was missing. the adorably beautiful white with blue eyes. so we went searching high & low for it as if we found it, my mum will let us keep it. we did find it. on the other side of the block, across the road, near a carpark, lying by the side of the road. dead. yes. my first accounter of seeing a dead cat. sadly it got hit by a car.

after that incident, i still do want a pet cat. & that's when i found baby. my now 3 yrs old tabby. she was still a kitten then, about a few months old, being left in the bushes on her own somehow. some kids was throwing rocks at the bushes, so i decided to plead mum to let me keep it. & she plead to dad to let us keep it. & so we did. finally i had a pet cat!! having a pet cat is not as easy as i thought at first. it was not like having a pet hamster. it was way better but with more responsibility. cats are curious creatures but they are intelligent, adorable & it's a comforting feeling when you're stressed & you have them around to hug & talk with, cause they will sit by your side quietly listening & purring. & their purr can help you calm down.

so after a yr of having baby the tabby we found grey, the mix breed persian. who apparently happen to stray at our corridor, there was no tag or any address on her. she stayed hidden at our neighbour's pot for a few days. till my youngest sister somehow coach her out to eat. mum fell in love with grey & we took her in. baby wasn't that happy since she was the only one getting the all the attention, now she have to share it. but after years pass, after a few cat fights, they got together pretty well.
